Morning Moon and a bit more

I was thinking I haven't captured images of many waning moons yet - since that means a set-up in the morning.....  So one week from last week's eclipse I thought I should celebrate and take a look at a Last Quarter Moon.  :-)

Some images ~

A rather long video this time, but I enjoyed zooming in 5x and then 10 x and traveling along the terminator :-)

It was starting to get light (I should have gotten up just a bit earlier ~ lol) but I decided to go for M13 and M57.  Not too bad for no stacking and skies getting lighter.

M13 - Globular Cluster in Hercules

M57, Ring Nebula in Lyra... a work in progress.  Hah!

p.s.  Minimum temperature this morning ~ 37 F =)

About Me

My photo

I've lived in southeastern Iowa all of my life, now with my wonderful family ~ husband and 3 children.

I've been teaching science now at the local community college for over 10 year now.  I teach both in the class room and online settings.  I have a passion for ALL PHYSICAL SCIENCE!

Sometimes I both drift off to sleep and wake up thinking of science.  Science ROCKS ~ but even more so the Creator whose imagination thought up this wonderful universe we call home ROCKS EVEN MORE!  lol
